In order to reat panic attacks by yourself at home you first need to be clear about what they are so that you can discern why you suffer from them. Although most people think of panic attacks as something harmful to their body because of the fluctuating vitals of their physiology during such a phenomenon, a panic attack is actually a protective instinct of our body from external invasion.
Common symptoms of a panic attack can be anything from dilated pupils, tunnel vision or reeling of the head because of the sudden rush of blood to the head, nausea and constricted feeling the stomach leading to pressure on the heart, heart burn and shortness of breath because of hyperventillation which may cause the CO2 levels in the blood to drop, disturbing its pH, sweating and a sudden drop in body temperature.
Ways to combat panic attacks from home:
Whistle or sing
The easiest thing you can do in order to avoid or treat a panic attack at home is to whistle. Forcing yourself to whistle allows you to breathe normally, thus stabilizing the oxygen and carbon dioxide level in the body. You may also sing in order to have the same effect as that of whistling during a panic attack.
Try to indulge in some physical activity such as running up and down the stairs or swimming if you have the opportunity in order to combat the sudden rush of epinephrine or adrenaline in the body as well as controlling the drop in body temperature during such an attack.
Gastritis is a common symptom in those who suffer from panic attacks regularly. This can be treated by consuming papaya enzymes (4, 5, 10 or 12) which soothe the stomach and release the pressure from the gas instantly without any other side effects.
